A Declaration of Conscience
We are a coalition of concerned citizens from diverse communities and backgrounds joined in one common purpose: protecting our rights. We share an unwavering commitment to the United States Constitution, the rule of law, and the fundamental values that unite us as citizens and define our American Republic.
Our liberty is under attack. Across our nation, we bear witness to alarming abuses of power and crimes by armed federal agents and agencies acting beyond their lawful authority or purpose. Their actions imperil core constitutional protections:
Freedom of speech and assembly
Due process
Equal protection
Freedom of movement
Right to bear arms
Free commerce
Freedom from unreasonable search and seizure
Right to life and liberty
Their actions deny our sovereignty as free citizens and the democratic principles for which generations of Americans have given their lives.
As patriots who love our country deeply, we act now so as not to lose our freedoms. Courage, solidarity, and outspoken defense of our rights remain the strongest defenses of American liberty.
Our mission is to protect constitutional rights, support our neighbors, and strengthen our communities through lawful, peaceful and collective civic action including:
Organizing neighborhood-level presence for lawful observation and documentation of interactions involving federal agents, to expose violations of rights, ensure accountability and preserve constitutional protections.
Strengthening local institutions by standing with our businesses, schools, houses of worship, unions and other organizations that serve as anchors of trust and stability in our communities.
Providing community resources for anyone vulnerable to unlawful detention, intimidation, abuse, and assisting with legal, medical and the basic requirements of day-to-day life.
Building coalitions with local officials, civic leaders, legal advocates, and community groups who share our unwavering commitment to constitutional governance and civil liberties.
Promoting complete, accurate media coverage and sharing factual information that informs others to counter misinformation and false narratives.
Advocating for accountability through the courts when government actors abuse power or violate the law.
Demanding that our elected representatives at the federal, state, and local levels act now to enforce policies that uphold our constitutional rights.
Empowering the public with knowledge of their constitutional rights, lawful boundaries of power and their civic responsibility to resist injustice through peaceful, collective action.
